Access

The slogan for ACCESS is: "ACCESS Distance Learning providing Classrooom Courses and Teachers via Technology". ACCESS stands for: "Alabama Connecting Classrooms, Educatiors, & Students Statewide. It is a free program provided for all Public High schools in Alabama. The program includes web-based, interactive video conferenceing and blended methods of delivery. It also offers a very wider variety of courses, to include Advanced Placement courses.
There are many ways in which ACCESS helps high schools. It offers remediation courses which help prepare students to pass the exit exams. It also offers core courses as well. That way, if a student fails a course, they can make up the credit by using access, or attend summer school through access to pass the course. That way, students can graduate on time. In my opinion, ACCESS is great and it is still a work in progress, that will bring us many more features and tools to use in the future.
